why therapy?

When you’re feeling low or anxious, overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck, psychotherapy provides the physical and emotional space to take stock and find solutions. As an active, collaborative psychotherapist, I listen closely, offer fresh perspective, and help clients make real changes in how they feel and how they live.

I work with individual adults and couples affected by depression, anxiety, difficult transitions, poor body image and disordered eating, substance misuse, infidelity, and a wide range of other emotional and interpersonal challenges. I dedicate a large portion of my practice to my specialization in reproductive and maternal mental health and provide expert care to women and couples impacted by infertility, pregnancy loss, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and the transition to parenthood.

We know that success in therapy rests, more than anything else, on the quality of fit and consistency of open communication between client and therapist. So I invite you to look around to learn more about me, my approach to psychotherapy, and my practice. If you think my support might be a good match for you or your family, please let me know.
