reproductive and
maternal mental health.

Postpartum depression and anxiety disorders affect approximately 1 in 7 childbearing women - but symptoms often leave them feeling ashamed, confused, and alone. I can help. As an expert in reproductive and perinatal mental health, I partner actively with my clients to understand their experiences and help them feel better quickly. I bring clinical savvy and state-of-the-science knowledge to treat a wide range of reproductive mental health challenges, including depression, generalized anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, and PTSD that develop during and after pregnancy, in conjunction with fertility treatment, or following pregnancy loss.

My expert commentary has been featured on the Huffington Post, Psychology Today, Baby Center, and in the Wall Street Journal. From 2013 – 2015, I served as a staff therapist at the Seleni Institute, where I authored nationally recognized trainings on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders for physicians, nurses, and therapists. I’ve lectured in hospitals, EAPs, and government-sponsored trainings throughout New York City and maintain my commitment to community service by holding need-based sliding-scale appointments for women with reproductive concerns.

An active member of Postpartum Support International and the Postpartum Resource Center of New York, I completed specialized training with trailblazer Karen Kleiman, LCSW at the Postpartum Stress Center outside of Philadelphia.

As an active, collaborative psychotherapist, I listen closely, offer fresh perspective, and help clients make real changes in how they feel and how they live.
