about me.

I completed my training at New York University, the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, the Postpartum Stress Center, and the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Before transitioning into private practice, I provided mental health services to adults, children, couples, families, and groups in a variety of a court-based, hospital-based, hospice, and outpatient settings throughout New York City.

I most recently served as a staff therapist at the Seleni Institute, where I developed recognized expertise in reproductive and maternal mental health and frequently contributed commentary to the media, including The Wall Street Journal, the Huffington Post, Psychology Today, Baby Center, and Pix 11. I’ve maintained this specialization since transitioning into independent practice and now additionally welcome clients facing a wider range of challenges, particularly those related to depression, anxiety, couples’ issues, trauma, grief, and professional stress.

Outside of the office, I live in Montclair with my husband and two young children, wish I had more time to run outdoors, and am still pretty broken up by the finale of Breaking Bad.

As an active, collaborative psychotherapist, I listen closely, offer fresh perspective, and help clients make real changes in how they feel and how they live.
